Founded in 2014 Graffiato is a company dedicated to their clients to bring them beautiful design that is appealing for years to come.  The name Graffiato itself comes from the founders roots! The word graffiti comes from the Italian word "Graffiato" meaning ‘scratched.’ Ancient graffiti was usually scratched into walls using a sharp object, or drawn using chalk or coal. Modern style graffiti can be found all over the world including places like Greece, Turkey, and Egypt. Modern graffiti today is often associated with modern culture, and is known to have originated from New York subway graffiti.  The oldest form of modern day graffiti is dated all the way back to the 1920s, and typically depicts images having to do with the war. Today, graffiti is mainly viewed as a gate way into modern pop culture.
